Christina Kenyon Hall and brown horse called Tex. Walking the arena

Christina Kenyon Hall

Chrissy has been an active member of the horse community since entering it as a junior rider in 1986.

  • She is a USDF Silver medalist, having competed through Intermediare 1.
  • She was a member of the team that represented the Region 9 Advanced Young Rider Championships at Temple Farms in Wadsworth, Illinois.
  • She also won the AHSA 1988 National 4th level Jr/young Rider Championships.

She competed several horses at regional and national horse trials, winning the area V adult team championships in 2002. Although the majority of her education was under FBHS Mary D’arcy, she has ridden with Franz Rockawansky, Jeremy Beale, Michael Poulin, Gabrielle Grillo, Arthur Kottas, Lendon Gray, Molly Sivewright, Hilda Gurney, Dennis Callin, Hans Biss, and Heather Blitz.

A professional of 25+ years’ experience

As a professional of 25+ years’ experience, she has coached both dressage and eventing clients. Her clients have gone on to compete at NAYRC for Area V, earning team gold and silver medals. Additionally, her students have been nationally ranked through Advanced level eventing and Prix St. Georges level dressage.

A passion for making excellent horse/rider matches

She has a passion for making excellent horse/rider matches, and has experience in buying horses both domestically and internationally, having made multiple trips overseas to purchase horses for clients…many of which have been successful competitors for over a decade (and some for multiple riders!).

Chrissy specializes in riding horses that are sensitive, difficult or “untraditional”.  She loves the chestnut mares and has a special relationship with the stallions and other “high energy” candidates. Having said that, she always loves a chance to ride a laid back one as well.

Chrissy’s husband Mark is her greatest asset…he attends as many horse shows with her as possible and is the go to guy for all things that need fixing, grilled, or wired.
